How Metal Futons Work

Metal futon frames usually include a mechanism called a transmission. This is essentially a hinge that allows the futon frame to covert from sofa to bed. Some metal frames have a mechanism called a "click clack" that allows the futon frame to be converted in intervals. A clicking sound can be heard, whereby the futon frame locks into various positions. This allows many metal futon frames to be put in a recline position.
